Fibre Drum Recycling
Fibre Drums are manufactured using natural Fibreboard - a sustainable resource that is grown through managed schemes.
Fibreboard drums are available in a variety of designs - some made of 100% fibreboard and others with the use of metal rims and plastic clip-on lids.
The IPA reconditioning membership includes a number of professional waste management companies who will provide a collection, sorting and segregation service to ensure the recovery and recycling of the fibreboard, metal and plastic components.
There are a number of companies who manufacture specialist equipment for the seperation of the metal rims from fibreboard drums - these range from small units suitable for manual operation to the higher throughput designs for larger volumes.
